Evenings at Soala Sauna are always cosy, twinkly and lit but for this one, we’ll let the summer night sky take over.

Following the beauty and awe of previous full moons at the river, we welcome this Sturgeon Moon - rising big, bright and visible to the naked eye from the sauna window. This moon signifies the peak of spring, representing abundance, resilience and deep emotional reflection. Historically named by indigenous tribes for the peak harvesting time of sturgeon fish in North American lakes, this full moon signifies sustenance, strengthening community bonds and preparing for the coming autumn, acting as a reminder of nature’s provisions and longevity.
